A parody of “This is Just to Say” connected to the daily slicing of March with my apologies to William Carlos Williams.
Want to see parodies on the poem that will make you laugh and perhaps give you ideas: http://www.schmutzie.com/weblog/2009/4/8/this-is-just-to-say.html
This is Just to Say
I have blogged
each day
of March with
teacher writers
and now
I wonder why
my page is blank
a dry
barren field
Forgive me
I am exhausted
so spent
and so blank
You are not exactly dry, if you ask me. This form is fun to play with. This is just to say… Thanks.

I also think the poem looks quite interesting on the page and I think many of us feel that way…just blank when it’s all over. xo

I think a month of writing can do – a blank page, but you created beauty using WCW! That is awesome!

This is just to say, I love your poem, and don’t mind at all that you are tired. Me, too. Thanks for the inspiration Maya!
